It is December already. There is a nip in the air in some places whereas it is already freezing cold in others.

And add some rains to it down south because of the cyclone.

Wondering why am I saying this?

Tell me one thing, what would you like to do on a day with such a weather?

Go back to sleep? Work? Go for a walk? For me it would be staying back in my room, wrapping a blanket around myself and reading a book, all this while sipping on a hot cup of tea. This is the perfect setting for me I tell you. How I crave for one such day! Tea!

Now that reminds me, that tomorrow is International Tea Day!

A cup of tea is not just good company when you read, it is the best company that you can have any day.

Facing that Writer’s Block? Go ahead make yourself a cup of tea and sit down to write. Words will flow.

Having a stressful day at work? Relax with a cup of tea.

And how can we forget the hot cup of adhrak wali chai that mom makes when you have a bad headache or a sore throat?

Or what about those never ending conversations we have with our friends over a cup of tea?

The long drive during the rains would be incomplete without a cup of chai and some hot pakoras.

There are also those boring meetings where the cup of tea is a welcome distraction to break the monotony of never ending excel sheets and presentations.

Gosh! So many memories associated with a cup of tea.

So this week, settle down with a cup of tea and write about what happens over a cuppa. It can be a true story or a figment of your imagination, a piece of fiction or a lovely poem. We are waiting to read all those wonderful posts of yours while sipping on endless cups of tea. So what are you waiting for? Bring them on!
