New year!

A new beginning you seek to make. You sit down to plan your year ahead. You put down in writing all those dreams and aspirations, the things you want to achieve and the tiny bits and pieces of your life that you want to improve. While you think about it, you look back on the wondrous journey that your life has been, the highs and the lows, the good times and the bad times.

It all comes to you in a rush, those memories, those places, those people you were with! The more you think about it, it all leads you to one day, that day!

That day may be the day your life changed.

That day may be the day when you realized that you had grown up.

That day may be the day when you realized your true calling.

That day may be the day when you did something that you are proud of.

That day may be the day when you were the happiest.

That day may be the day when you decided to do what you want to as opposed to what the society wants you to.

That day may be the best day of your life or the worst one.

That is the day of fond memories, of long diary entries, of wounds and scars, of torn pages or dusty books, of dried flowers or that giant tree which grew from the seed you planted that day.

That day could be any day. That could be just another day. So what happened that day?

This week tell us a story, weave a poem and pour your heart out about “That day”.

Looking forward to read your posts. Make sure you read those that get added to the mix !
