At Blogchatter, we believe the best book recommendations come from the heart of the reading community and that\u2019s exactly how our Book List of 2025 came to life. We wanted a handy reading list, something that had been vetted by other readers. And of course, we wanted books written about India and by Indian authors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Is the Blogchatter Book List<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s more than a list. It\u2019s a crowdsourced collection of book recommendations from passionate readers across our community. In 2025, we had asked you to share your favourite reads published in 2024 and 2025, along with what made those books stand out to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And wow, did you deliver!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 8 diverse genres, we received a staggering number of suggestions, to the tune of 100! The team read through every single entry with joy and growing TBRs, and after careful voting and plenty of literary debates over at least a week, we put together a longlist of 12 titles that best reflected the collective tastes of our reader community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the reading, reviewing and voting, three books emerged as the winners of the Blogchatter Book List of 2025:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn\u2019t just our list, it\u2019s<\/strong> your list. Readers went through the longlist, discovered new books, shared their thoughts through reviews and eventually voted for the books they wanted to see at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Book List started with recommendations from our community and ended with three winners chosen by that same community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
