She\u2019s also a law professor who picks five students to aid her in a murder case and is admired for the protectiveness she shows for her students as they try to balance law and their personal lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a role typically awarded to men, Kerry Washington\u2019s Olivia Pope is a no-nonsense crisis-management wizard for all humiliating political scandals.
