Just hearing the word chocolate makes many people salivate if they are avid chocolate lovers. No one can say no to chocolates. Anyone at any age at any given moment loves chocolates. They make us feel good. During childhood, chocolates were the go-to munchies that most of us were fond of. Each year we look forward to our birthdays mainly because of two reasons. One we get a new dress and the other, we get packets of our favorite chocolates to give to our friends at school. Some of us never forget to have a secret stash of those chocolates. Everything that we do for the love of chocolates\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 7th<\/sup>, we celebrate World Chocolate Day<\/a>. Milton Hershey was the one who made the chocolates affordable for an average person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With those fond memories, now let\u2019s find out a little more about the most loved chocolates in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cadbury Dairy Milk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A bar of deliciously creamy milk chocolate that gives us a sense of nostalgia along with the bitter-sweet feelings of our puppy love. Even after all these years, this chocolate remains the most preferred while gifting to our loved ones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sad news for those who are traveling to America. It is almost impossible to get hold of Cadbury Dairy Milk in the USA as Hershey, forced a ban on British Cadbury imports in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n

Nestle KitKat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the best parts of every \u201c90\u2019s kids\u201d life will always be Nestle KitKat. With the chocolate coating over the layers of cocoa wafers, it\u2019s always delightful to unravel each section while taking all the time in the world to savor its taste. The best version of this chocolate is the one that is currently available. \u201cHave a break, have a KitKat\u201d is still fresh in my mind even after all these decades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The size and the number of KitKat fingers vary across the world. In Australia and New Zealand, there\u2019s a 12-finger Kit Kat bars made for sharing. More than 200 flavors are available in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n

Snickers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This chocolate bar made of nougat topped with loaded caramel and peanut and a layer of chocolate will most likely leave us satisfied, thanks to its filling protein. Their successful advertisement campaign with the slogan \u201cYou\u2019re not you when you’re hungry\u201d has contributed hugely to the popularity of the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally named Marathon bars, it was later changed to Snickers after taking the name of the Mars family\u2019s favorite horse.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cadbury 5Star<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Loaded with chocolate and caramel, 5Star has always been my favorite during school days mainly because it is soft and just dissolves in the mouth leaving a bitter-sweet flavor. Some might feel this chocolate to be too caramelly for their taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another popular ad campaign featuring the famous duo Ramesh and Suresh with the slogan \u201cEat 5Star, do nothing\u201d has made 5Star a household name in India.<\/p>\n\n\n

Nestle Munch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The country\u2019s most loved \u2018coated wafer\u2019 is widely enjoyed by people across all age groups. Whatever new variants may arrive the classic wafer chocolate bar rightly marketed as \u2018crunchilicious\u2019 will always remain the favorite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Munch was one of the first Nestle products that were launched only for the Indian market in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cadbury Bournville<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A staple for all dark-chocolate lovers. When two brothers-Richard and George Cadbury relocated their factory to Birmingham in England, they named the factory ‘Bournville’ after a local river known as Bourn; with ‘Ville’, a French word that means town. The chocolate was named after this village and was first sold in 1908.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ferroro Rocher<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This Italian-based chocolate that made its mark in India, gives us the golden experience with its luxury taste. Ferrero Rocher is made of the finest hazelnuts enrobed in the mix of chocolate, crispy wafers, and hazelnut pieces that give us a delicious combination of lush flavors and texture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As hazelnut is the signature ingredient of Ferrero Rocher, about 25% of its total supply around the world is being consumed by Ferrero Rocher.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cadbury Gems<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With an impressive commercial that encompasses an ageless appeal, it truly made grownups forget about age and bring out the inner child within everyone to lick and enjoy the gems like a kid. These crunchy candy-coated milk chocolate morsels always hold a special place in everyone\u2019s heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cadbury Gems pack contains candies of the colors blue, pink, yellow, red, green, and orange and was first introduced in the year 1968.<\/p>\n\n\n
