It is said that Tomorrow never comes.
For what is tomorrow today, will be today tomorrow.
Sounds confusing? It definitely does.
We humans have so many plans and dreams- some of which we put our heart and soul into to make them work, some of which we just keep putting it off until it is too late and some plans and dreams for which we even don’t give a second thought. We excel in the execution of some of our plans, some plans work out for us just fine and then there are some in which we fail, at times miserably.
And then there are times we give up. For many times we find it easier to give up than ensure it all. But in the end we feel bad for not having given our best.
And a lot of times the reason is procrastination.
2016 has almost passed by in the blink of an eye.
Remember we had all made those resolutions on New Year’s day?
A few of them we succeeded in keeping but I’m sure there would be many that we gave up on within the first few days. But all plans do not have to start on the first of January. They can begin right now.
There is saying “What you can do tomorrow, do it today. What you can do today, do it now”
A lot of times we may have told ourselves “Beginning today I’m going to give up on watching TV” or something similar.
But call it the universe conspiring against you because you are conspiring along with it by putting off doing what you are supposed to do or sometimes plain old bad luck greets you and makes all your plans go for a toss!
This week spin your stories, weave your poems and knit your funny, heartwarming or even sad anecdotes about “Beginning Today” It does not have to be a true story.
Let your mind wander but don’t put off writing on this prompt. Begin today, begin now!

Is an engineer by the day and when the sun sets to make way for the night, she puts on her thinking cap and her fingers itch to hit the keyboard and write. While not writing- code or creative stuff, she prefers to read. Give her a good book, some fresh air and some food and she promises not to disturb you until she finishes the book. She likes keeping herself busy be it with reading, writing, music or sports! She loves to talk a lot but yes she loves quiet walks in nature.
