Losing a parent is an emotional scar that one never recovers from. With this book, the author has immortalized her father, making him an inspiring figure not just for those who knew him but for anyone who reads the book. Full review: https://wp.me/p6XQyB-43V
Manali Desai Thank you, Manali for the warm review! ????
This ebook by Jayanthi K, as I know her,is a heartwarming recollection of her growing up years through her father's eye and a gratifying tribute. As I read through it I instantly felt a connect to my own childhood and how our parents, mostly first graduates in their families strived hard to give their offsprings a better experience at life. I wish everyone recollects and documents (even privately will do) events in one's life which will serve as a thanksgiving to their parents. Jayanthi s well chronicled account is a pleasure to read. I'm sure her father would be applauding her for this memoir.
Sulogena Thomas Thank you, Sulogena for the nice review! :)
Hi JK, Thoroughly enjoyed reading your book today (i.e.) Father’s Day ‘22 as a tribute to my father who passed away last year. Very touched by your father’s traits that you narrated with succinct details with the quotes “I WANT TO BE A DOCTOR WHEN I GROW UP” IF YOUR DREAMS DON’T SCARE YOU, THEY AREN’T BIG ENOUGH!! “To my darling daughter, Jayanthi – for studying abroad” While half of your book echoes my father’s traits the other half echoes my traits that my two daughters bear in their hearts and minds…. Proud to be a father and appreciate the fatherhood !! And yes of course the father of two girls is a gifted privilege that I have like your Dad. And I enjoyed every syllable of what you’ve put down here. Kudos to you! And your great Dad!!! ????????
Saravanan Y Thanks YSa for the warm review.. :)
Loved journeying through Jayanthi's narration about her father in Memories of my Father. A book where she bears her heart out about her loving father and shows us glimpses of him along with the flavour of the love and devotion that a daughter has for her father. The journey of the author's memories with her father was truly a pleasure to read. The author brings out her father's unique personality by recalling nostalgic memories of him. Great book, I enjoyed reading it!
I have downloaded the book and am excited or rather emotional to start it at the earliest.
Geethica Mehra Thank you, Geethica!
The author has shared many of her fond memories that she shared with her father, and it was nice to read about them. His unique personality traits make the book all the more interesting to read. In addition, I enjoyed reading about the early life of the author's father and get a glimpse of life in the olden days. Overall, great book!
