So far we have been balancing a lot of online side of Blogging and creating conversations around it. Given that it is a community and friendships are natural next levels here, at some time you will create a meetup. Yup not attend but organise one. And we can assure you they are lots of fun !

But some things need to be noted as an organiser.

Shall we begin?

1 Sending an invite to those who are included

Personal messages are a must. Every relationship in Blogging world is to be nurtured like a real offline thing. Courtesy, affection and need to bond are all exhibits worthy of a mention here

2 When invites multiple

More often than not, your target group will grow. People will connect more people and before you know it the whole village gets invited (This term we give credits to Sid Balachandran). Snap all of them onto a list and send invites personally or through a close friend.

3 How to navigate conversations

A round of intros is must. Give time to each one to explain what they do, why they are here etc. As an organiser it is always helpful to add some personal bits about your bond with that person as well. This further cements your bond.

4 Selection of place

Oh wait ! We forgot you must at all times select a place convenient to many. Check that all of them know the route and have desired transportation as well

5 Purpose of meet-up

Surprisingly in todays times there are so many brand meet-ups that need for some non branded ones has seared. We feel purpose of meet-up should at times be more blogging and friendships than anything monetary. Maybe once as an organiser you get the hang then drive more purposeful get togethers !

Speaking of meet-ups, do you know at Blogchatter we have a range of meet-ups in cities which can be championed by you ! Yes you drop us an email and organise a meet-up we will assist you as much as we can at our end.

Around the challenge we have built up a rather interesting festival as well called the Blogchatter Writing Festival– celebrating the blogger to author journey.

Did we say author?

Oh wait. Have you not seen last year’s post challenge Blogchatter Ebook carnival? Championed by Chitra Divakaruni we received twenty six ebooks during the month of May all self-published by our community members.

This time we have eight popular authors who are coming along as part of our mentor program for festival, taking up special twitter chats and facebook live sessions to further your publishing dream. Read more here: Blogchatter Writing Festival

As part of Festival we will once again be opening our portals for your self-published ebooks (in case you choose to convert your April blogging challenge into one). You can ping us here or anywhere you find us for queries, etc.

This month we will also be taking up the #AtoZChallenge with you. Celebrating better blogging across platforms through our theme:
