The Blogchatter Book List of 2025: Your place to find the next read

At Blogchatter, we believe the best book recommendations come from the heart of the reading community and that’s exactly how our Book List of 2025 came to life. We wanted a handy reading list, something that had been vetted by other readers. And of course, we wanted books written about India and by Indian authors.
What Is the Blogchatter Book List
It’s more than a list. It’s a crowdsourced collection of book recommendations from passionate readers across our community. A couple of months ago, we had asked you to share your favourite reads published in 2024 and 2025, along with what made those books stand out to you.
And wow, did you deliver!
From 8 diverse genres, we received a staggering number of suggestions, to the tune of 100! The team read through every single entry with joy and growing TBRs, and after careful voting and plenty of literary debates over a week atleast, we’ve put together a longlist of 12 titles that best reflect the collective tastes of our reader community.
