A Villanelle poetry is also known as Villanesque is a nineteen line poetry form consisting of five tercets followed by a quatrain. Villanelle originated from Italy, a rustic poem of Italian song ( Italian Villanelle from Villinos Italian peasant ) the term was used in France to address a short poem as well.
