Da Vinci Code (by Dan Brown), a book that hooked me on to symbolisms and I have always looked for deeper meanings to mundane things. With such a thought processing head, visiting a church as a parent volunteer for my child's school field trip on the topic of cultural symbolisms to the local church of significance was an experience, in itself.
