Famous Fictional Characters: Snoopy
Snoopy, the well known, adorable, and loyal beagle, is a main character in the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz. He first appeared on October 4, 1950 (two days after the strip begun), while his name first appeared on November 10 (he was originally going to be called ‘Sniffy’).
