Famous Fictional Characters: Tintin
A reporter, adventurer, and traveler, Tintin is the protagonist of the comic book series The Adventures of Tintin, written by the Belgian cartoonist George’s Rémi (better known as Hergé). The series was one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. By 2007, the series had been translated into over 70 languages and had sold more than 200 million copies! It had also been adapted for radio, television, theatre and film.
