
Fathers (and fathers-in-law) Who Mentored Women
Historically many successful women in India were mentored by unusual men - fathers, fathers-in-law, uncles - who looked beyond gender to encourage ability. These women could be royalty or commoners. All these women were well educated and trained for their future roles. Hence they were worthy of the position they occupied and for being remembered as notable at their vocations.
