Nandini Gupta's translated Giyas Ali's Love & His Time Alone collection into English and it contains six distinct short works, by Sadique Hossain; these stories portray rural community life with a blend of realism and surrealism. The author also depicts many different types of images throughout the body of work; thus, these same images may be viewed as metaphors for love, loneliness and humanity's vulnerability.
