Mostly Mundane by Saugata Chakraborty – A Rustic Mind
Chronicling anecdotes from the life of a quirky and oddball character, Shantilal, the book is a laughter ride through and through. Each of the 19 short chapters cover everyday experiences of a middle-class Indian man, right from his over-the-top entrepreneurial pursuits, to a dinner out at a restaurant gone hilariously wrong, and many more such. The situational humour along with the the witty observations make for a perfect read after (maybe even during?) a stressful work day or travel partner over the weekend.
