The Loneliness of Stars: A Poetic Reflection on Growing Up and Adulting
When did you last see a star in a dark sky? I know it’s been a long, long time; in this adult urban life, watching the sky feels like a luxury that we couldn’t afford. As a kid, we loved watching those shimmering, glittering stars sprinkled in the vast dark sky, occasionally floating clouds around them, circling them like a liquid serpentine. Sometimes obscuring them, sometimes coming to embrace them like a garland of pale grey smoke.
