The Lonely City – Discover yourself and the world
Olivia Laing’s The Lonely City: Adventures in the Art of Being Alone is a mood. It’s definitely the highlight of my reading this year. Stuck at home in the middle of a pandemic, dreaming of my trip to the US two years ago and craving to be in the midst of the bustling environs of New York City. Gah! I miss this city so much.
