Exporters in India who want to take advantage of the Foreign Trade Policy must have a Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate, or RCMC Registration. The RCMC Full Form identifies its dual function as proof of membership and registration with the Export Promotion Council. The RCMC Certificate, which is granted by approved Export Promotion Councils, certifies the exporter's industry and grants access to a number of government programs and incentives. To get export subsidies, tariff drawbacks, and other trade-related benefits, RCMC is required. All Indian exporters must obtain RCMC Registration in order to remain competitive and compliant in international markets.
