Why I Still Celebrate Karwa Chauth
I've been writing about Karwa Chauth since 2011. Apparently, some things haven't changed. I still love the sarees, mehndi, bangles and getting dressed up.
What has changed is what the festival means to me. From watching my mother get ready, to celebrating with friends thousands of miles away from home, it's become one of those traditions I've carried through different stages of life.
And yes, I have thoughts about the annual feminism versus tradition debate too.
A new post on why I still celebrate Karwa Chauth, and why I think women should be allowed to make up their own minds.
