X is for the Life I Didn’t Choose
Sometimes I think about the life that still exists somewhere, untouched, unlived, entirely mine, just not this version of me. It is not in a way that aches with regret or in a way that questions what I have. Because what I have today feels almost unreal in its fullness. It’s the kind of life I didn’t know how to design, even if you had given me a pen and all the time in the world.
