Having to don multiple hats after the writing is done, limited marketing budgets and lack of access to reader platforms often keep their books hidden from their ideal audience.

At Blogchatter, we’ve always believed that every story matters. And this time, we’re putting the focus squarely on the storytellers who do it all on their own, the indie authors.

What is #IndieChatter

#IndieChatter is our newest initiative to celebrate indie authors and their books, giving them a platform for better discoverability and community engagement. Through #IndieChatter, we’re inviting indie authors to come forward and share their books, and what makes their stories unique.

The five most persuasive pitches shared with us will receive visibility through the Blogchatter Book Review Program, at no cost!

As an indie author, this is your chance to introduce your work to an active community of readers, bloggers, and reviewers who love discovering new voices.

An indie author is someone who has chosen to take the publishing path into their own hands, whether through self-publishing, small presses, or digital-first releases. Indie authors wear many hats: they are writers, marketers, designers, and entrepreneurs rolled into one.

How Can You Participate?

It’s simple!

1. Tell us about your book, what makes it special, and why readers should pick it up.
2. Fill out the form with your pitch and details. The form is open from Nov 10th to Nov 20th, 2025.
3. Use the hashtag #IndieChatter on social media to join the conversation and connect with other indie authors.

We’ll review all entries and select five standout pitches as winners.

The five selected indie authors will receive:
