Observation is awakening to revelation of life!
George Prime
Observe, Notice, Focus and Listen are commonly used terms to highlight the magic of observation. This is purely because Observation is a powerful tool for learning. It is an art to absorb a greater source of knowledge that gives a new angle to look at things, generates new ideas, spotlights our creativity and designs innovative solutions to the most complex problems that seem to be unimaginable and beyond our thinking.
Learning and Observation are performed in various ways:
- Observation by sense of feel
The sense of feel is a great way to arise from emotions by perceiving the external environment. An example of this is that of achild who learns through observation from parents and the way of their communication.
- Observation by sense of hearing through taking note of surroundings
Natural curiosity is the driving force of this form of observation. An individual learns a new language, words and phrases by observing and noticing other people talking.
- Observation by the sense of seeing
A sales trainee learns marketing skills by observing and accompanying his marketing head to client visits.
- Observation of nature
Observation of nature has Immense Power to Approach things from a different and new perspective as it accounts for the sense of feeling, watching and hearing to appreciate the environment through observing plants, birds, trees and animals.
Most profound observation and deep learning through eating patterns of pigeons.
The pigeons are often found in groups and they eat very small tiny bites of food in groups. They pick up the food from one place and collectively many pigeons get together and consume them.
This amazing and powerful observation has deeper learning :
- The fun of collaboration
When we collectively collaborate it is fun as it reduces the workload, manages the stress, and creates accountability towards one another . The weak points of one are taken care of the other and it thus multiplies the result of success.
- Little by little a little becomes a lot
Little things like watering the plants, Soothing music of birds, Little quality family time, Little savings, and Gratitude for safe and good health are some of the tiny things which fill our hearts with love and grace.
- The Ripple effect
Small gestures of sharing, extra efforts each day to improvise, and supporting someone when in need can make the world a better place to live in peace despite the darkness of all the negativity around. The ripple effect of these roots has a greater impact.
- The Soothing calmness
Through Noticing the stillness that the pandemic has left, the empty streets, the shut doors of Neighbors, and the quietness in school and office areas, seem like a nightmare but when we Observe the other side of the scenario:
It directs us to Calm down, Pause and Observe our lifestyle to take care of our health, value money, live in the present and be grateful for all the things we possess.
Adapting this learning through speechless pigeons to share and grasp the tiny things around us gives us inner peace and solace.
Nature gives us so much to enjoy, observe and learn, we need to be mindful to grasp it!
