A Little Birdie Told Me – A Rustic Mind
I’ve often wondered why we use other species to talk about certain things like ‘monkey business’, ‘a little birdie told me’, ‘dog eats dog’, ‘busy as a bee’, et al. It led me to thinking what if the species didn’t like us humans using them as references to make our point. And of that thought was born this haiku series poem.
