After losing her father and amidst financial as well as emotional crisis, Sonali lands a job as Mrs. Shaurya’s chaperone. Though she loves Mrs. Shaurya and her efforts are well-appreciated by all and sundry, Mrs. Shaurya’s grandson finds Sonali’s manners and the way she carries herself, a bit suspicious, especially because she claims to come from a poor family.
