A lot has been written about Majuli already. I have nothing new to say about the issues it has been facing for decades. Instead, today I am writing about the new Majuli which has come a long way from those days and established itself as the most exciting backpacker hub of Assam. No one can control the mighty Brahmaputra & its floods but Majuli has started making its own luck through certain timely steps and local entrepreneurship.
