My affinity for poetry is kind of an open secret. In comparison to any of my other creative and fiction writing pursuits (microtales, short stories, novels, et al), poetry is the one I’ve written most extensively. Despite that, I feel that I could learn and imbibe a few things from the more experienced poets.
