Getting fired from her Delhi-based corporate job, Diya Rai finds herself in her native, the rural lands of Dhanpur. Her arrival is marked by the inauspicious death of Bhola, a farmhand in her father's fields. When her father becomes a prime suspect in the murder, Diya takes matters in her own hands because the local police seem hellbent on proving her father guilty without enough evidence.
