Small and medium enterprises or SMEs play an important role in building the economy. Here’s a chance for you to showcase your writing skills based on the SME business domain. Your professional opinion can help others gain much needed insights on the business front.

What you have to do

Follow the submission guidelines and submit a blog post for the contest.

What you get

  • Reward points - Every participant, whose blogpost is approved, will earn 2000 reward points. 
  • 25 entries will be selected to be featured on the Growth Matters Forum. To know more about the judging process for this, scroll down.
  • Your entries will be screened by a jury (scroll down to know who will be a part of the panel) and 5 shortlisted ones will be chosen for a session with the judges after which certificates will be provided.

Deadline 

We’ll be accepting 50 entries. The only eligibility criteria to be one of the fifty entries that gets approved is to follow all of the submission guidelines. Last date for submission - 5th December 2021.

Submission guidelines

Step 1: Write a 600-700 words blogpost on any one of the topics:

Mukti Masih: She has been named one of the Top 10 Content Writers of India in 2018,2019, 2020 and 2021 by an IT aggregator firm. She worked with The Times Of India early in her career, and has been freelancing for almost a decade now. She has more than 14 years of combined experience in journalism, content writing, book editing, translation and book writing, with three published works to her credit. The first is her poetry anthology called Poems In A Chai Cup- a book that became an Amazon bestseller. She has also mentored thousands of budding writers at an EdTech platform School.Life.

Ganesh Vancheeswaran: Ganesh is a catalyst for people’s self-expression. Much of his work is a direct consequence of this motivation. As a person branding coach, book coach & editor, he helps speakers, coaches, trainers and consultants present themselves and their messages most impactfully to their target audiences in different formats. He is also the author of the popular book “The Underage CEOs: Fascinating Stories of Young Indians who Became CEOs in Their Twenties”. Judging criteria for selection of 25 entries to be featured on Growth Matters Forum

The 50 entries that are approved will be judged on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Coverage of topic: How well you have expressed your thoughts on your chosen topic
  • Relevance of the blogpost: The blogpost is relevant and to the point, with a clear takeaway
  • Originality of content: It is an original piece of work and not plagiarized 

Timelines to keep track of

  • Deadline for submission: 5 December
  • Announcement of 25 shortlisted entries: 17 December
  • Announcement of 5 winners: 27 December
