A TEMPLE WITH A SMALLEST IMAGE OF LORD VISHNU
The Divya Kshetram TIRUCHIRUPULIYUR is located closer to Mayiladuthurai in Tamil Nadu on the way to Tiruvarur. The Presiding deity is Salasayana perumal in the reclining posture and the Goddess is Thirumamagal Nachiyaar. The Ustavars (the idols taken out in processions) are Kripasamudra perumal and Dayanayaki.
