Letters to My Mother by Vikkas Arun Pareek – The Book Brewer
Vikkas Arun Pareek’s "Letters to My Mother" is a poignant epistolary novel delving into generational trauma. It follows the intertwined lives of two mother-daughter pairs, illuminating their complex relationships. The author adeptly blends fiction and reality, creating a genuine narrative that resonates with readers.
Despite its non-linear narrative, the transitions are remarkably smooth, allowing readers to immerse themselves in the narrative. While the story is engaging, the ending left me somewhat disappointed.
Overall, its ability to touch readers on a deep level earns it a place among my top reads, despite my reservations about the ending.
